100% Orange Juice

In this day and age of concentrates and commercialized orange juice, it’s difficult to recognize what juice really is. Unknown to many consumers, most juice from concentrate is made out of cheaper low-grade foreign oranges from China and Brazil. On top of that, many companies rely on preservatives and chemicals to keep extend their juices shelf lives.

At Foothill Produce, we strive to keep juice simple.

What makes our juice so special?

-Our 100% Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice is squeezed and bottled daily.

-No preservatives or chemicals.

-Each bottle is guaranteed fresh.

-We hand inspect every orange that goes into our juicer to ensure that every bottle is perfect.

-We use top-grade oranges from California and Texas in our juice. California navels for its sweetness; Texas oranges for their rich body and orange tanginess.

-We custom blend different varieties of oranges to get the best body and flavor throughout the seasons.

-Approximately 30 oranges go into each of our half-gallon bottles, definitely no watering down like the other brands.

Can Brussels Sprouts Be Fun!?

YES!

I know, I know, "Brussels Sprouts" does not conjure up very fond memories. It might actually bring back some traumatizing childhood memories of your parents forcing you to eat them. Hopefully we can change all that.

Boiling has been done, so let's try toasting them.

What you'll need:
-1.5 lbs of Brussels Sprouts
-3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
-1/2 teaspon of Salt (Kosher Salt)
-1/2 teaspoons of Ground Black Pepper

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

Peel off any yellow leaves, then trim and wash the Brussels Sprouts. Halve sprouts for faster cooking and presentation. Combine the above items in a zip-lock gallon bag and shake till even coverage. Spread over aluminum foiled baking sheet and toast for 15-20 minutes. Check every 7 minutes and shake sheet to brown evenly. Remove when browned to your desire and serve immediately.

Hopefully this recipe will change your mind about our not so favored little green friends.
